Holland America Cruise Line

Last weekend, my family went to a lot of places like Bahamas, Curacao, Aruba, and Panama.
We also went to Costa RICA!!!! That was my favorite place!
And I think you can guess why!!!! I also got a key chain at every place we went to so I can remember that place. Like, the key chain I got in Panama has palm trees on it, because that place has a lot of palm trees around. And whenever it was a day at sea, my mom and would always play table tennis (which people call ping-pong) near the swimming pool.
Every night my family and I go to "La Fontaine Dining Room" to eat dinner.
There are three different themes of clothing.....casual, semi-formal, and formal.
My favorite was formal because I had this really nice black skirt, and I could never choose
which blouse to wear with it and almost all of them looked perfect with it!!!
Also, every night when you go to bed, the room service people leave little chocolates on your pillow! Every morning, when you go to eat breakfast, you can ask for whatever you want!!!
And when you come back to the room, the room service people made your bed!!!
For the kids on the cruise, there was this place called Club HAL.
That is my favorite place on the ship because they have an arcade, PS2 room,
(Play Station 2 room) and a place on the top deck called the Oasis. Most of the teens like to hang there. It has a pool/waterfall, they have netbeds that you can swing on, and they have tables so you can eat and drink in that area. (You can't eat or drink in the pool/waterfall
even though a lot of people want to.)The cruise was the best vacation I ever took!!
Plus,I even made some new friends! Like Kathy, Courtney, Jackie,and Sarah!!!
Our ship was called........The Amsterdam!!! All of the Holland America ships end in "dam".

Snapping Turtle in the Swamp

On a tuesday, My dad was driving home from work.
And we has this swamp beside our house.
Then he saw a snapping turtle in the swamp!
So, when he parked the car, he got out of the car and
got a box from the house. And he had to be careful because he
was going to put the SNAPPING turtle in the box.

But he can't bring the turtle in the house so he just put it in the garage.
He called my mom and told her he found a snapping turtle.
So, she picked my brother and I up from school and we went home.
Then when we went home, we touched it. Then we had to let it go.

Fishing in the lake

Last weekend I went to my dad's friend's house. His name is Mike.
So, he lives in this cottage in Colchester. And if you walk down the road there's this big lake where he went fishing and he cought a huge seven pound bass!!! And then it was our turn to go fishing. Then later we were almost done fishing so we started heading back to shore. But wedidn't catch any fish.
My brother Mikey cought I think six. But we went fishing because first of all, it was sooo hot outside. And second of all, we really didn't have anything to do. So, that was definitly the most
fun adventure that weekend!!!

My Trip to Disney World

In May 2003, my family and I went on a trip to Disney World in Florida!!! (when I was five years old. My brother was either three or four.) My absolute favorite ride is the "Splash Mountain". That's my mom's favorite ride too.I also liked the parade that they had when we were leaving.

And in the morning for breakfast, they always had a big buffet!! The food there was excellent!!
They had scrambled eggs, bacon, and for dessert, they had donuts, and even cookies with mickey mouse faces on it!!! But the best part of the whole trip was that one night, in our hotel room, we saw everyone was outside. So we got out of the room and when we got out there were fireworks
shooting into the sky and then everyone was screaming and shouting!!!

In my room, I also have a hat that has the word "Minnie" sewed in red. I bought that to remember the best trip to my favorite vacation ever, going to Disney World in Florida!!!

School

I go to school in St. James Stratford, Ct. I've been going to school there for three years.
I made a lot of friends! And I made so much I can't even count!

I'm in second grade. My teacher's name is Mrs. Della Vecchia.
I'm not sure how old she is but she is kind of young probably. My friends and I sometimes have playdates and parties. We also have a lot of sleepovers. But even though I live in Clinton, it usually takes about an hour to get to school. So for me, I wake up at around six or six thirty.

How I learned to knit

On March 28, 2005, I was in school at "The After School Program".

And I saw my teacher teaching my friends how to knit. So I went over there and asked them why they wanted to learn how to knit. They said because when they go there, they are alyays bored.

And then I decided that I wanted to learn how to knit. After I few weeks, I kind of got the hang of it, so I started my first scarf. It was pink and I made it for me. The second one I think I made for my brother Miguel.

I'm not sure if the color was blue or green. I think it was blue.
Anyway, I made eight scarfs so far. I think I've made eight or nine scarfs.
This summer, my teacher is going to teach me how to make a sweater!!!

My favorite vacation

Well, I haven't gone on my favorite vacation yet, but I all ready know how fun it's going to be because I saw pictures of it. My favorite trip in the world is going to be my cruise to Costa Rica this coming November.

That is my favorite vacation because, well, the last word in Costa RICA is part of my name!!

The best part is that everything is free!!!! But you only need to pay for the soda. I'm not going to drink soda, so everything I do is free.

When I get back from Costa Rica, I will make another post on how great it was.

Anyway, I all ready have an idea of how great it will be!!!!!
